Mats Hummels passes at Borussia Dortmund

Mats Hummels, the German defender who has been with Borussia Dortmund since he was just 14 years old, is set to leave the club after agreeing terms on a new contract.

Hummels, who has made over 250 appearances for the Bundesliga side, will join Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window. The move is believed to be a personal one and comes as no surprise given his close relationship with manager Julian Nagelsmann.

Hummels joined Dortmund from Mainz in 2008 and went on to become one of the club's most successful players. He won three Bundesliga titles,Football Wide Angle two DFB-Pokal victories and one UEFA Champions League crown during his time at the Signal Iduna Park.

In addition to his impressive career at Dortmund, Hummels has also represented Germany at international level. He made his debut for the national team in 2011 and has gone on to play over 70 times for Die Nationalen Elf.

Despite his success at Dortmund, Hummels' future at the club remains uncertain. However, it seems that he will be joining Bayern Munich, where he will continue to play alongside some of the best defenders in Europe.
