Steven Bergwijn has made the move to Dubai, joining the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea in moving away from Premier League football this summer.
The Dutch winger has signed for Damac, who have been one of the most active clubs in the transfer market so far this summer.
Bergwijn is set to make his debut for Damac on Wednesday night against Al Ahli in the UAE Pro-League.
He joins the club after having played for PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie last season.
Damac have also brought in several other players, including defender Ahmed Dahab and midfielder Youssef Benalil.
The club's manager, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, said that he was delighted with the signings and hoped they would help the team achieve their goals.

"We're looking forward to seeing how they perform and what they can bring to our team."
The signing of Bergwijn is part of a wider push by Damac to improve their performance in the league.
They have already made some significant changes to their squad, including bringing in a new coach, David Wagner.
Wagner has had a successful career as a coach, winning numerous titles both domestically and internationally.
"He's got a lot of experience in coaching and we're excited to work with him," Al-Khelaifi said.
"The new coach will be able to take the team forward and we're looking forward to working with him."
